Clean Flame brings efficient heating, cooling, and air purification where you need it most - to the center of your home. Combining state-of-the-art heat pump technology with the allure of a fireplace, Clean Flame provides quiet, affordable year-round comfort and improved indoor air quality for virtually any setting.

  • In 2025 we plan to install 30 units as part of our beta testing program. Our goal is for Clean Flame to be commercially available in early 2026.

  • As with all heating and cooling systems, the cost depends on many factors, such as the size of the system and the complexity of the installation. The Clean Flame facade adds minimal cost to a mini-split heat pump and is specifically designed to be both affordable and easy to install. Further pricing information will be available soon.

  • Yes, all models of Clean Flame use Fujitsu Energy Star rated heat pumps and qualify for a $2,000 federal tax credit under the Inflation Reduction Act, Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit.

  • Heat pumps heat more efficiently than any type of conventional heating to include natural gas, oil, propane and electrical resistance.  Although the efficiency of Clean Flame drops as the outdoor temperate decreases, it is still more efficient than conventional heating down to its rated outdoor temperature of -5 degrees F.  Economic heating analyses are available to compare heating rates in your area.   • The Clean Flame Fujitsu heat pump employs an inverter-driven compressor, which adjusts its speed based on the cooling demand. This boosts efficiency and eliminates the frequent on-off cycling typical in window and central air systems.   Additionally, Clean Flame has no duct losses.   In central AC, up to 30% of the cooling is lost due to leaks or poor insulation in ductwork.

  • With a MERV 13 air filter, Clean Flame will filter out more than 90% of particles 3 microns and larger. This means that the filter can be effective against certain pollen, dust, pet dander, tobacco smoke, and bacteria particles

  • Temperature, air speed, humidity and noise are important factors for human comfort! The Clean Flame system is so quiet you won’t even know it’s on.

  • With a customizable real stone veneer surround, the Clean Flame system can complement any decor and it’s easy to update for a new look.
